TENMOKU ATELIER CARE GUIDE
Care for your Tenmoku piece
A few gentle habits help preserve the glaze, feel, and story of a handmade Jianzhan piece.

After each use
Rinse with warm water and wipe or air-dry fully before storing. A soft cloth is enough for the outside; avoid abrasive pads and strong cleaners.
Everyday use
Use the piece for tea, coffee, or display as described on its product page. Avoid sudden temperature changes, direct flame, and prolonged soaking.
Storage and gifting
Store dry with space around the piece so it does not knock against other ceramics. When gifting, include the product details and let the recipient know that natural kiln variation is part of the design.
